Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the Psychlinic platform.
Critical Clinical Boundary & Medical Disclaimer
Psychlinic is a software technology platform designed to facilitate practice management, patient communication, documentation formatting, and practice growth. Psychlinic is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical or psychological advice, clinical diagnosis, or psychotherapy. All clinical judgment, diagnoses, emergency crisis interventions, treatment decisions, and prescriptions remain solely and strictly the responsibility of the qualified, licensed mental health professional. AI automation tools are provided strictly for administrative and drafting assistance and never make autonomous clinical decisions.
1. Eligibility & Account Security
By registering for a Psychlinic account, you represent and warrant that:
- You are a licensed or accredited mental health professional, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, clinic administrator, or authorized staff member.
- All credentials, clinical registrations, and practice information provided during registration are accurate, current, and complete.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, enforcing multi-factor authentication, and restricting unauthorized staff access.
2. Software License & Permitted Use
Subject to compliance with these Terms, Psychlinic grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our software services to manage your mental health practice operations, schedule appointments, generate GST invoices, and maintain client documentation.
3. Crisis & Emergency Services Disclaimer
Psychlinic is not an emergency hotline, suicide crisis response service, or 911/112 dispatch platform. Practitioners are solely responsible for providing emergency crisis contact numbers (e.g. National Suicide Prevention hotlines, local hospital emergency rooms) to their patients on intake forms and websites.
4. Subscription Fees, Invoicing & Refunds
Paid tiers are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis as configured in your account settings. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the next billing renewal. Founding early-access pricing rates remain locked for the lifetime of your continuous active subscription.
5. Practitioner Data Ownership & Portability
You retain full ownership, copyright, and clinical custody of all patient records, progress notes, and client files created in Psychlinic. Upon account termination, you are entitled to export your complete database in standardized digital formats.
